This is more than a dinner.
This is ritual - a ceremony of building rich and deep connections.

Our storytelling theme for our solstice dinner will be centered around “moments when we found the light”. These can be stories that revolve around coming out of dark times, dark seasons, dark decades. We will gather together and share stories about what has served to bring us back to life, even if for brief moments. This is a creative assignment meaning, you can interpret it as you like. At our last dinner, one person brought beautiful images they had created to tell a story. You are invited to tell your story as you so desire.

Prepare your story by writing it down or speaking it out loud.
Practice with others, in front of the mirror, in your car.
This is not about giving a good performance, but about creating a story that is enjoyable to tell and to listen to.
Each story needs to be kept at five minutes or less.

You do not need to have any past experience telling stories or preforming.
We are all storytellers. We are all orators. We just need to find the right able to sit at.
Amidst our stories, we will find friends, build community and hear stories that serve as a kind of healing balm to our own questions and challenges.
