Meet Maria, our first—and currently only—rooster here at Ojo Conejo. When Maria’s long tail feathers began to grow, we were certain she was a beautiful hen. That is, until the day she started to crow. The name stuck, and Maria has since become one of our most striking (and cantankerous) birds.
